Forbes has released its annual list of rankings of Best States for Business and for the 7th year in a row RI is unable to break out of the bottom 5. Coming in at #47 for the Regulatory category. Forbes also cites the third worst average unemployment rate over the last 5 years, and that people are leaving the state to find work elsewhere.

On the upside Forbes notes:

a high percentage of millennials relative to other New England states who can act as cheap, trainable labor.

Well at least we have something going for us… I think.
